What we offer

As a community interest company, it is important that we engage the local community with what we offer.......

  • Group visits, up to 15 people - we have regular bookings from a Dementia support group and can cater to most groups or ages
  • Education - We envisage an Alternative Education provision at Wyre Horseways providing placements for 16+ students with an EHCP to complete Horse Care or Animal Care endorsed qualifications
  • Grow and chat zone - seasonal fortnightly drop in - everyone welcome, but please let us know you are coming
  • Equestrian arena hire - great surface, quiet and low key environment
  • Riding and in-hand clinic - pole work, obstacles, brave horse training

 

Meet the horses and ponies

Groups of up to 15 people of any age - activities can include

  • Meet the horses
  • Grooming, plaiting and decorating
  • Yard duties/stable management
  • A treasure hunt walk
  • In-hand activities with the horses/ponies in the school
  • Wild flower spotting walk around the grounds
  • Hobby horse obstacle course

Community workshops

Hands on experiences with our calm, but inquisitive horses and ponies

We can arrange a ridden and/or in-hand demo, training, dressage or pole work for an audience to watch.
